David Holston returns to Artland Dragons

David Holston (170 cm, Chicago State’09) is making his way back for another run with Germany’s Artland Dragons this 2013-14. He spent one season away, playing in Turkey for Mersin Buyuksehir Belediye. In 2012-13 he played 29 games in the Turkish league and averaged 14.8 ppg and 4.2 apg.

The last time he played for the Dragons, which was in the 2011-12 season, the undersized Holston averaged 15.3 ppg and 5.6 apg in 40 games in the German Bundesliga. He helped them reach the semifinals and also played in the German Bundesliga All-Star Game in 2012. Holston played a couple of games in the Eurocup and averaged 6.5 ppg and 4.5 apg. He was a useful playmaker for Artland Dragons in the EuroChallenge as he hit averages of 12.2 ppg and 6.3 apg in 13 games.
