David Andersen moves to Strasbourg

David Andersen (212 cm) has been picked up by French ProA team Strasbourg (Eurocup) for the remainder of the season. The Euroleague legend last played for Fenerbahce (Turkey, TBL and Euroleague) last season and is joining a Strasbourg team that has lost its first two games in the Eurocup Last 32. During his one season with Fener the experienced center averaged 8.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per game in the Turkish league. The Australian also featured in twenty Euroleague games and averaged 7.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

David Andersen is a Euroleague legend who has won the competition three times (Bologna 2001 and CSKA Moscow 2006 and 2008). He is in second position in the Euroleague this century in rebounds (1,145) and has played for some of the best teams in Europe. He also has NBA experience after representing the Houston Rockets and the Toronto Raptors.
