Dario Hunt released from BC Odesa

Dario Hunt (203 cm, Nevada ’12) has been released from his contract by BC Odessa (Ukraine-Superleague) after 21 games. Hunt was averaging 6.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game over the 21 Ukrainian Superleague games he played in. Hunt came to Odessa straight out of college, having played four years at the University of Nevada where he played in 135 collegiate contests, averaging 8.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. His junior year was his best, averaging 12.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in 32 games. Over his four seasons he ended up at the top of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) leaderboard at various times in offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, blocks, blocks per game, total rebounds per game, and personal fouls.
