Dario Gjergja to remain Oostende coach

Dario Gjergja, the head coach of current Belgian champions Telenet Oostende has signed a new contract extension that will keep him with the team for the next two seasons. The 38-year old Croatian guided Oostende to the Etihas League championship last season. It was the third time he has won the Belgian championships.

Under Gjergja’s guidance Oostende are on course for glory again this season, and are currently leading the Ethias League regular season standings with a 12-4 record. Belgium has been a place of success for Dario Gjergja and in the country he has also won two championships with Spirou Charleroi (2008, 2009) as an assistant coach.
