CSKA Moscow ups ante to keep Milos Teodosic
The “Arms Race” is on! A quiet “Cold War” has begun between NBA clubs and CSKA Moscow in order to land/keep Serbian superstar, Milos Teodosic. Several NBA teams have expressed serious interest in luring the 30-year-old guard to the NBA this 2017-18. Some of which include the Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets. Teodosic has responded that it is something he is considering as an option. His current team, CSKA Moscow, has other machinations in the works. In line with that, the team has put on the table an offer of 12 million Euros over the next three seasons. If Teodosic takes CSKA Moscow’s offer, he will be far and away be the highest paid player in Europe. He has been an integral part of the team’s success in recent years and they would like to continue keeping him as a core component of their build. Even though NBA teams have the capacity to match or even surpass that offer, the question remains whether they will want a big financial commitment for a player whose mettle has yet to be tested in the NBA hardwood. Of course, at the end of the day, the ball
Of course, at the end of the day, the ball will wind up in Teodosic’s court, as he will be in control of his fate and future. Will he want to take his game in the “best” league in the World or will he want to stay and dominate European basketball for several seasons to come?
