Crvena Zvezda 2-0 in Adriatic League finals
In Game 2 of the Adriatic League Finals, Crvena Zvezda beat Budućnost VOLI (85-79) and took a 2:0 advantage in the series.
Once again, we have witnessed an exciting game in the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in Belgrade. Once more, the outcome was the same as in Game 1; Crvena Zvezda emerged victoriously and is now just one victory away from clinching their ABA League Championship trophy for the 2020/21 season.
Crvena Zvezda dominantly started the game by taking the lead right away and building it up to 16 points at halftime. However, Budućnost took the gloves off and had a furious 29-6 run. By the end of the third quarter, the visitors from Montenegro had turned a 15 points deficit to a seven-point lead!
It was a whole new ball game in the fourth quarter. Crvena Zvezda eventually retook the lead in the 36th minute and didn’t allow any more come-back from Budućnost.
