It was a strong effort by winners as they developed a comfortable lead as early as the first quarter and was able to fend off efforts by ASVEL to mount attempts to close the gap. By controlling the game from start to finish, Paris held strong and kept their lead until the end of the fourth quarter. Giovani Oniangue added 13 points, while John Cox and Sean May each chipped 10 points each in the winning effort.
JSF Nanterre was just awaiting the result of this game after they defeated Pro B team, SO Maritime Boulogne in the Semifinals. Nanterre was the first team to enter the semis after it dispatched fellow Pro A team, Limoges CSP Elite 83-76.
An interesting positional match-up to watch in this Finals contest will be between Antoine Diot (PG) from Paris and Chris Warren (PG) from Nanterre.
