Christavious Gill will showcase his talent in Montenegro.
Christavious Gill (173 cm, University of New Orleans ’17) has officially signed his first professional contract with KK Ibar Rozaje (Erste Liga). He will debut in Rozaje, Montenegro, in the 2017/2018 season. The 23-year-old Louisiana native’s stats fluctuated however, he still managed to average a career high 31.8 min per game in his senior year. Although he did not start in every game, he recorded a total of 1,018 minutes played in 2016/2017. In his last season as a Privateer, he logged an average of 11.5 ppg, 2.2 rebs, 2.7 ast, and 1.5 stl. Throughout his collegiate career, he recorded 1,356 points, 252 rebounds, 252 assists, and 169 steals. All in all, he played 115 games and scored a career high, 38 points in his junior year against the Northwestern State Demons. Gill led his team to a victory in the Southland Conference Tournament. In addition, he was selected to Southland Conference Honorable Mention and Southland Conference All-Tournament Team. In conclusion, he set a UNO career record 3-point attempts (602).
