Charles Jenkins moves to Tenerife

Charles Jenkins (191 cm, G) has signed in the Spanish ACB for the first time in his career. Jenkins just finished the (EuroLeague) season with Olympiakos and was available, in shape, and in Europe. Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias jumped on the opportunity to add the experienced 32-year old to the roster.

Jenkins played all 34 EuroLeague games for Olympiakos. He averaged a mere 2.9 ppg and 0.9 assists in just under 16 minutes of playing time per contest. Last season he also played in the EuroLeague. As a matter of fact.

Charles Jenkins has played for EuroLeague teams each of the seasons after he left the NBA in 2013. He has suited up for Crvena Zvezda (4 seasons), Milano, Khimki, and the aforementioned Olympiakos. Jenkins also holds a Serbian passport.

Jenkins played college basketball at Hofstra where he averaged 22.5 ppg and 4.7 assists his senior year. He was picked in the second round of the NBA draft.
