Chamberlain Oguchi cut by Anwil
Chamberlain Oguchi (196 cm, Illinois State’09) has been released by Polish club Anwil Wloclawek (Poland-TBL) this 2016. He is a 29-year-old Nigerian player who has been a member of the Nigerian national team since 2005. He helped Anwil make the Polish Cup semifinals this 2016. Unfortunately, injuries dampened the hype surrounding this talented player. Oguchi did manage to play 11 games for Anwil this 2015-16 and averaged 13.7 ppg and 1.9 rpg.
The swingman started the 2014-15 campaign with Maine Red Claws in the USA D-League where he played 24 games and averaged 9.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game before moving to Spartak Primoire Vladivostok (Russia, PBL).
In the Russian second tier Chamberlain Oguchi played nine games and impressed with averages of 15.0 points and 4.3 boards per appearance. Later in the 2014/2015 season Chamberlain Oguchi played five games for Eurocup runner-up Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas.
