Carlos Arroyo inks with Barcelona

Carlos Arroyo (188 cm, Florida International’01) has been tabbed by Spanish giant FC Barcelona (Liga Endesa and Euroleague) for the 2015/2016 season. The ex-Puerto Rican international is officially at veteran status at 36-years old, but he still brings plenty to the table and Barcelona will be looking to tap into that next season. The point guard brought his solid all-round game to Galatasaray (Turkey, TBL) during the last three seasons and during the 2014/2015 campaign he played in the TBL and the Euroleague.

In the Turkish league he played seventeen games and impressed with averages of 15.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game, while over fifteen Euroleague contests he logged 12.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 4.8 scoring passes per appearance.

Carlos Arroyo has a lot of NBA experience and over the years has played for the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, and the Toronto Raptors.
