Calvin Cage lands with Al Ahli

Venezuelan player Calvin Cage (183 cm, Buffalo’06) will be making his return to Qatar this 2013-14 season as he signs with Al Ahli Sports Club Doha (D1). In May 2013 Cage signed with Gigantes de Guayama in his home Venezuela. He managed to play in 14 games for them and averaged 12.4 ppg and 2.3 apg. Before that, he was briefly with Panama City Breeze from USA’s ABL.

In 2012-13 Calvin agreed to a short-term deal to play in the Czech Republic for BK Breda & Weinstein Opava (NBL). He played just three games for them and averaged 14.3 ppg and 3.0 apg. He left the club in November 2012. In February 2013 he agreed to terms with Al Gharafa Doha from Qatar’s D1.
