CADER moves on to playoffs after beating Urunday University in Uruguay
CADER beat Urunday University and reached the number one spot for the playoffs by doing so. The game was controlled mainly by CADER, which managed to win three of the four periods.
The game was pretty even the first quarter, Wilkerson and Mackiewicz playing strong in the restricted zone for Urunday while Bertolini shot 3-pointers for CADER. Only in the second quarter did any significant lead come about, CADER leading 47-38 by half-time.
The third period was won by Urunday who managed to finally take the lead with the help of Wilkerson, rated as the best foreign player of the tournament.
After a tight game in the fourth, CADER barely grabbed the lead with free-throws from Bertolini.
Grady Reynolds scored 24 points, Adrián Bertolin, 19, for CADER.
Urunday’s high scorers were Lambert and Mackiewicz with 18 each and Wilkerson with 17.
