Budućnost ties Adriatic League final series and forces decisive 5th game
Budućnost VOLI has protected its home court in the ABA League Finals. After being 2:0 down in the series after the first two games, they have now tied it to 2:2.
The 2020/21 ABA League Finals could not get more exciting. After four games the series are tied to 2:2. Budućnost VOLI has bounced back after being 2:0 down in the series by beating Crvena Zvezda in both home games in Morača Sports Hall, tying the series to 2:2 in a thrilling game, that could have gone either way, as none of the teams truly dominated any part of the clash.
Budućnost took a 4:0 lead right at the beginning of the game, but Crvena Zvezda mts replied with a 9:0 run and it turned out to be Budućnost’s only lead all until the 37th minute of the game, when Nikola Ivanović took his team up 77:76. The game remained a close one and when Zoran Nikolić scored two free throws with 40 seconds remaining, the game was tied at 80:80. Justin Cobbs then put the blue and white in front again with 7 seconds left in the game (81:80). Crvena Zvezda had the final ball possession, but both Jordan Loyd and Dejan Davidovac missed. Budućnost VOLI celebrated.
