Ratiopharm Ulm improved in the second frame and the visitors used a 13-20 run to make it one point game through halftime, Bamberg leading 38-37 during the long break. That was as good as it got for the visitors as Brose Baskets went through the gears in the third act, putting a massive 27-12 streak to secure a 67-49 through thirty minutes. The hosts put the game beyond doubt with a stunning 27-16 hit in the fourth.
Brad Wanamaker and Darius Miller led the title winners with 19 points apiece, while Daniel Theis added 12 points.
