Basketball Champions League Qualifiers Tip Off
The 2017-18 season is upon us and international basketball is getting its engine revved up as we speak. The Basketball Champions League welcomes the new season with their qualifying tournament. The first few games of the first qualifying round took place last night and it is safe to say that the competition among the participating teams is fierce.
Spain’s Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias are the reigning champions after bagging the inaugural title in 2017. They defeated Turkish club, Banvit Basketbol Kulubu in the finals, 59-63.
This new season brings a set of new challengers to the title and after three qualifying rounds the group stage will begin and the race in the regular season will get underway.

Lulea vs. Telenet Giants Antwerp, 79-81
Donar Groningen vs. Vytautas, 75-77
Kapfenberg Bulls vs. Benfica, 72-75
The teams will face off again tonight. While some teams will even the score others will set themselves apart with a 2-0 advantage in the qualifiers.
