Antonio Porta signs with Valladolid

Argentinian-Italian Antonio Porta (187 cm) has signed with Blancos De Rueda Valladolid (Spain, ACB) until the rest of the season from Givova Scafati (Italy, Lega 2). The 29-year old point guard has played 8 games with Givova 7.3ppg, 3.3rpg, and 1.2apg. Last season Porta also played in Italy’s Lega 2 with Tezenis Verona where he averaged 15.9ppg, 4.1rpg, and 4.4apg in 28 games. His assist average of 4.4 per game placed him 3rd overall in the league for assists.

Antonio Porta is known as a strong passer and he will be hoping to Valladolid climb away from the bottom of the table. The team is currently sitting in 15th in the ACB league in Spain with a poor 6-14 record.
