Anthony Hilliard moves to Enisey
Anthony Hilliard (193 cm, Elizabeth City’09) has found a new team this 2016-17, joining forces with Enisey Krasnoyarsk (Russia-VTB). Anthony joins the Russian organization after starting the season on the roster of Maccabi Rishon (Israel-Winner League). He played four games for them in the Basketball Champions League and averaged 8.3 ppg and 2.0 apg. In four games in the domestic Israeli league, Hilliard dropped averages of 12.5 ppg and 1.8 apg.
He saw action for Belarusian club Tsmoki-Minsk (Belarus-Premier League) in 2015-16. Anthony played a dozen games for them in the maiden season of the FIBA Europe Cup and registered averages of 14.5 ppg and 5.2 rpg. Hilliard also logged some 30 games in the VTB United league and there he was able to deliver averages of 14.5 ppg and 5.9 rpg. The team captured the Belarusian league championship in 2016. He played three games there and averaged 22.3 ppg and 8.3 rpg.
