Andrew Goudelock to miss EuroLeague season
Andrew Goudelock (190 cm, Charleston’11) will sit out the remainder of the season and will miss out on Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv’s push for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the Israeli league. The playmaker has been in excellent form, despite the former EuroLeague champs having a woeful season on the continent.
The former Eurocup player of the year is expected to sit out five to six weeks due to arthroscopic surgery on an ankle injury that has sidelined him for the last two EuroLeague games.
Andrew Goudelock was brought into Tel Aviv at the start of this 2016/2017 season. He was a marquee signing for a club looking to get back on its feet during a transitional period.

Goudelock has delivered his side of the deal, even if Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv has toiled in Europe. The club is on an 8-16 record just one place above the bottom of the standings, but Goudelock is the top scorer with 17.3 points per game. Indeed, he is the third-best scorer in the EuroLeague this season.
The 28-year old is an experienced European player, despite leaving to play in China last season. Goudelock has scored double figures in his last 24 EuroLeague games and is the fourth highest scorer in the competition amongst still active players (17.1 points per game). The former Fenerbahce Istanbul man was also holding the record for most triples in a single game. He drained ten from beyond the arc while playing in Istanbul.
