Andreas Glyniadakis joins Royal Hali

Royal Hali Gaziantep (Turkey-TBL) is bringing in veteran Greek big man Andreas Glyniadakis (215 cm) to strengthen their frontcourt this 2014-15. Andreas was a member of the Greek national team in 2008-09 and again this 2014. Royal Hali is currently in the middle of the pack in the Turkish league standings with a 2-1 record. His addition gives them some added depth in the low post.

He played the 2013-14 season with Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania-LKL). In a dozen Euroleague games Glyniadakis averaged 3.4 ppg and 1.8 rpg. He logged just one game for them in the Eurocup but failed to score nor grab a rebound in one minute of action on the floor. Andreas averaged 3.2 ppg and 1.2 rpg in 11 games in the VTB United League. Finally, in seven games in the domestic Lithuanian league he posted averages of 7.1 ppg and 3.4 rpg.
