Ahmad Smith waived by Rasta Vechta

SC Rasta Vechta (Germany-ProA) has waived American import Ahmad Smith (194 cm, St. Bonaventure’06) after playing five games for the club this 2014/15. During his brief run, Ahmad averaged just 5.0 ppg and 4.6 apg in 29 minutes per game of action. Smith is a veteran of German basketball and has played majority of his pro career for various German organizations. In 2013/14 he played for Nuernberger Basketball Club (Germany-ProA). Ahmad logged a total of 35 games for them and was able to produce averages of 12.1 ppg and even led the league in assists with 7.1 apg. His team managed to reach the German Pro A semifinals in 2014.
