Ahmad Nivins added by Pau-Lacq-Orthez

Ahmad Nivins (206 cm, St. Joseph’s’09) has been added by Elan Bernais Pau-Lacq-Orthez from France’s ProA for the 2013-14 season. The former Dallas Mavericks draft pick is moving from another French ProA team, Union Poitiers Basket 86.

In 2012-13 Nivins averaged 14.4 ppg and 6.2 rpg in 30 games. His performance for the season was impressive enough for him to garner an invite to play in the French ProA All-Star game in 2013. In 2011-12 he played in Belgium’s D1 for Belfius Mons Hainaut. There, he managed to play eight games in the Eurocup and average 14.0 ppg and 6.6 rpg. He logged 36 games in the Belgian league and was able to notch averages of 11.1 ppg and 4.9 rpg.
