2019 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers: Euro Standings Update
We’re officially four games into the 2019 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers for Europe. Several teams have risen to the top of their respective groups with perfect 4-0 records, giving them a distinct edge. So far, there have been few surprises in the competition. Some favorites got to sweep their initial games, while a few stumbled in tough matchups.
Group A

Lithuania is off to a hot start in the competition. They are still a perfect 4-0, while Poland and Hungary are still working on improving their win-loss records in order to secure a berth to the games.

The Italian contingent has managed to play to its strengths and their effort has paid dividends. Croatia is a surprising sight at the bottom of the standings considering their history of success. They are feeling the pinch of missing some key players who have been unavailable due to professional commitments.
