2015 NBA D-League Draft
Former NBA players keep their dreams of returning to the “big league” alive after being selected in the Top 3 picks of the 2015 NBA D-League Draft. Jeff Ayres of Arizona State was taken first overall by the Idaho Stampede. Former San Antonio Spur Jimmer Fredette was picked up by the Westchester Knicks with the second overall pick. The Iowa Energy, which had the third and fourth picks went with a mix of youth and veteran experience with their picks. With the third pick they took former Thunder forward Perry Jones III and with the fourth pick they opted to go with Cartier Martin.
